ACETECH Elite System Systems
In ATSR as we seek to serve the EMV market first
and foremost we are working with EMV stakeholders
to improve the performance of our existing products
and to refine the specification of the systems in
development.

We welcome constructive inputs from interested
parties.  We are interested in hearing from you.

The work of the crews manning and operating Emergency Vehicle (EMV) fleets is tough, demanding, and stressful. Our Research and Development efforts at ATSR are focussed on providing solutions that integrate ancillary control and communication systems in a manner that:-

  • Simplifies vehicle operation
  • Enhances reliability and vehicle availability, and
  • Promotes seamless communication between vehicle and control centre.

Our mission is to provide EMV vehicle systems that allow our EMV crews to safely focus on their primary role.

R&D personnel together with our marketing staff engage directly with key EMV stakeholders, i.e.

  • Front line personnel
  • Vehicle dispatch
  • Fleet maintenance
  • Health, fire, and police service fleet procurement
  • Body builders
to understand their operational realities and to develop targeted but flexible and cost-effective solutions. Our products are designed specifically for this audience rather than adapting systems that were developed for commercial fleet customers and were not optimised for EMV use in their features or operation. ATSR systems are all developed from the outset for EMVs.

With our ACETECH™ ECU Control System and Automatic Vehicle Logging (AVL) products established in the market, we have now connected them together with ACETECH™ ELITE allowing all information from the ACETECH™ ECU vehicle control system to be relayed back to the control centre in real time.

In the EMV

We are now expanding the range of products that connect and communicate together via the ACETECH™ CAN bus and up to back-office applications via ACETECH™ ELITE.

These products provide:-

  • New ECUs with different I/O configurations
  • Audio and display alert messaging of important vehicle information to the driver and crew
  • Equipment inventory management to help to efficiently ensure vehicles do not leave the base or a scene without important items of equipment
  • Driver identification back to base through use of existing employee ID/access control cards or via employee ID code entry
  • Logging and reporting of vehicle EOBD information to facilitate fleet maintenance and management
  • Logging and reporting of drive event and attribute data to encourage and promote best EMV driving practice and to relate such event information to time and location of occurrence

All will feature the flexible configurability features of our current products.

At the control centre/back-office:

In the control centre/back office we provide the server infrastructure and database software and applications to manage, display, and archive the data streaming from the fleet vehicles for a multi-user environment.  We can:

  • Supply the server and SW infrastructure, or
  • Work with your IT department to agree the specification of the IT infrastructure to host our applications.

We currently provide:

  • A web browser based interface to view the real-time fleet status
  • A web browser screen report generation interface
  • Data output interface to Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software used by dispatch controller

The report generation capability is being developed to provide reports that can present analysis on the basis of:

  • Individual vehicles
  • Individual drivers
  • Regional/divisional boundaries
  • Whole fleet

Reportable information will include:

  • Detailed and summary trip/journey information including start/stop times, speed, idle time, fuel usage/economy and related location detail.
  • Vehicle/Driver performance analysis
  • Vehicle service and maintenance schedule information and flags

Report data can be selected to be output in a variety of formats for viewing by standard office desktop computer application software and to be automatically generated and presented to interested parties via e-mail or file-server.
